Franklin Police Headquarters

This project involves a replacement headquarters for the Franklin Police Department. Containing approximately 94,000 square feet, the building includes a 911 Emergency Operations Center, suspect processing, I.D. Lab, Vehicle Examination, Evidence Holding, and a 2-story parking deck. A high-efficiency, ground-coupled Geothermal HVAC system is incorporated in the physical plant. The geothermal borefield system is approximately 200 tons, consisting of eight (8) independent water loops. Each of the eight loops is composed of thirteen (13) 500 foot deep grout-filled, U-loop bores. This project has been certified as a LEED Gold Building.

Nashville State Community College Administration and Support Building

This project involved the construction of a new 73,000 square foot building located on the main campus of Nashville State Community College. Spread over three floors, this square footage added theater, support space, and classrooms to the campus.

Highland Heights School

This project involves the renovation of and addition to the Highland Heights School in Nashville, Tennessee. The subject structure is a historical building, originally built in 1930. The 101,000 square foot building was renovated and updated to provide educational and recreational space for 900 students. Of particular note is the HVAC system which utilizes a Geothermal Earth-coupled system.

Nashville State Community College – Southeast Campus

This project is a 150,000 square foot renovation to create the Antioch Campus of Nashville State. The building consists of office space, classrooms, teaching laboratories and a teaching kitchen. Project also included the retrofit of the existing chilled water plant.

Nashville Fire Department Station 33

This project consists of a multi-story building containing approximately 20,000 square feet. The building includes high-efficiency, variable refrigerant flow (VRF), HVAC system with supporting heat recovery ventilation air systems, electric vehicle charging stations, roof mounted solar systems, and LED site lighting. This building was submitted to USGBC for consideration and achieved a LEED Gold rating.

Building houses multiple departments of the State and local agencies, including multiple multi-function class rooms, computer centers, job interviewing room, and a TOSHA (Tennessee Occupational Safety Administration) testing laboratory.

A Z Kelley Elementary School

A.Z. Kelley Elementary School was designed, engineered and constructed in a manner allowing utilization of the 75,000 square footage as state-of-the-art for students to fulfill their learning potential and to provide a safe, aesthetically-pleasing place for administration and staff to work. This project included: Six custom classrooms per grade for a student body of approximately 600. A modernized playroom, kitchen/cafeteria, library/media room and administrative area. Special oversized design to accommodate up to 800 students and to allow the addition of eight classrooms without disturbing the school’s infrastructure.
